Preview: The Wild, which defeated Anaheim on Saturday at home, plays for the second time in as many nights. The Wild lost in overtime 2-1 last week in Los Angeles in its first second half of a back-to-back. The Wild is 3-1-1 in its past five in Winnipeg. The Jets, after opening the season with three wins on a four-game road trip, have dropped two of three on home ice.

Players to watch: Wild top-six forwards Jason Pominville and Jason Zucker are in search of their first goals of the season. Pominville leads the Wild with 32 points in 37 games vs. the Jets/Atlanta Thrashers. LW Zach Parise has 30 points in 33 meetings, and LW Thomas Vanek has 28 points in 36 meetings. Jets RW Blake Wheeler entered Saturday tied for ninth in the NHL with nine points (four goals). He has points in all seven games. If he gets one against the Wild, it'll be a franchise-record point streak. Hard-nosed D Dustin Byfuglien is always a thorn in the Wild's side (20 points in 25 career meetings) and has four points this season. Captain Andrew Ladd has 13 points in 22 games vs. the Wild.

Numbers: The Wild entered Saturday with no points from fourth-line forwards Chris Porter, Erik Haula or Ryan Carter. … The Wild was one of three teams without a goal from a defenseman until Matt Dumba scored Saturday against Anaheim.

Injuries: Wild C Tyler Graovac (groin) is out. Jets D Grant Clitsome (back) is out.
