Preview: The Wild's three-game road winning streak ended Tuesday with a 3-2 overtime loss at Ottawa. The Wild is 6-2-1 on the road under John Torchetti. The Devils, the lowest-scoring team in the NHL (2.17 goals per game), are coming off a 2-1 California swing but lost their final game 7-1 in Anaheim. They have lost nine of their past 13. The Wild is 4-2-1 in its past seven against the Devils after going 1-5-4 in the first 10.

Players to watch: Wild LW Zach Parise is one goal from his 100th with the Wild. In four games against the team he once captained, Parise has one goal, three assists and 14 shots. LW Nino Niederreiter has goals in consecutive games. F Thomas Vanek has no goals in nine games. Devils F's Kyle Palmieri and Adam Henrique have combined for 48 goals. RW Devante Smith-Pelly has four goals and two assists in six games.

Numbers: The Devils have scored a league-low 89 5-on-5 goals in 70 games. … The Devils will wear their retro jerseys. They are 2-5 in them since they were brought back March 17, 2010.

Injuries: Wild RW Jason Pominville (lower body) is out. Devils G Cory Schneider (knee), LW Ryane Clowe (concussion), LW Patrik Elias (knee), LW Mike Cammalleri (upper-body), RW Jiri Tlusty (wrist) and RW Jordin Tootoo (upper body) are out. D Jon Merrill (undisclosed) is questionable.
