Tough-at-home Florida awaits before road trip concludes
Preview: The Wild's three-game road trip wraps up with a visit to the Panthers, who were taking on the Bruins on Thursday in Boston. Before that, Florida had dropped five straight, but three of those games finished in extra time. In a Dec. 13 game in St. Paul, the Wild cruised by the Panthers 5-1.
Players to watch: Panthers F Aleksander Barkov had 15 points in his previous 10 games before playing Boston. D Keith Yandle is the NHL's active ironman leader, having played 782 consecutive games. Wild G Devan Dubnyk is 9-1 in his career vs. Florida.
Numbers: Florida is 16-12-6 on home ice. The Wild is 6-4-2 in the second game of a back-to-back. Dubnyk's career save percentage against the Panthers is .948.
Injuries: Wild Fs Victor Rask (lower body) and Mikko Koivu (torn ACL and meniscus) and D Matt Dumba (torn pectoral) are out. Panthers Fs Derek MacKenzie (upper body), Colton Sceviour (upper body) and Denis Malgin (lower body) and G James Reimer (lower body) are also out.
