Preview: The Wild, 6-3-1 on the road since the Olympic break, is coming off consecutive third-period rallies for victories at Phoenix and Los Angeles. The Wild has won three of four games against the Blackhawks this season, including a 5-3 win at Chicago on Oct. 26. The Blackhawks, the second-best offensive team in the NHL (3.20 goals per game), have lost three in a row.

Players to watch: Wild LW Zach Parise has five goals in his past five games and leads the Wild with 28. C Mikko Koivu is on a six-game point streak and has 12 points in his past eight games. G Ilya Bryzgalov is 4-0-2 with the Wild with a 2.15 goals-against average. Blackhawks F Patrick Sharp leads Chicago with 31 goals and 73 points. RW Marian Hossa has 22 points in 26 games against the Wild. Dynamic F Teuvo Teravainen, 19, the leading scorer in the last world junior championship, has no points in three games.

Numbers: The Wild is 18-3-2 when Parise scores a goal this season and 11-1 when Koivu has a multipoint game. … The Wild's penalty kill has been scored on 12 times in the past 37 chances (67.6 percent kill date). Chicago's power-play is fourth-best in the West (20.2 percent).

Injuries: Wild C Mikael Granlund (head), G Darcy Kuemper (upper body), D Clayton Stoner (knee) and F Jason Zucker (quadriceps) are out. LW Nino Niederreiter (upper body) is probable. D Keith Ballard (groin) is available. Blackhawks F Patrick Kane (knee), C Jonathan Toews (upper body), D Michal Roszival (shoulder) and G Nikolai Khabibulin (shoulder) are out. LW Bryan Bickell (upper body) is probable.
