Final trip before playoffs
Preview: The Wild begins its final road trip of the regular season against the Ducks. It edged the Ducks 3-2 in overtime Dec. 8 in Anaheim and then fell 3-2 in a shootout at home Feb. 17. The Ducks are currently occupying the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference with 95 points. They're 7-1-1 in their past nine games.
Players to watch: Winger Corey Perry has 38 points in 43 career games against the Wild. Center Adam Henrique has 10 points during a seven-game point streak. Captain Ryan Getzlaf has points in five of his past seven games.
Numbers: Seven of the Wild's past 12 trips to Anaheim have been decided by one goal. Winger Zach Parise has five goals in his past three games. The Ducks are 12-1-2 in their past 15 home games. Since Feb. 15, Anaheim leads the NHL in goals-against per game (2.14).
Injuries: Wild D's Ryan Suter (right ankle fracture), Jared Spurgeon (right hamstring tear) and Gustav Olofsson (concussion) and F Luke Kunin (torn ACL) are out. Ducks D's Cam Fowler (shoulder) and Kevin Bieksa (hand) are out. F Troy Terry (precautionary measures) and G John Gibson (upper body) are day-to-day.
