Preview: A game featuring two of the hottest teams in the WNBA. The Lynx (7-11) are 5-2 in their past seven games and coming off an 83-81 victory over Atlanta, the first-place team in the Eastern Conference. The Storm (17-2) is running away in the Western Conference. Seattle beat Phoenix 111-107 in three overtimes Wednesday and has won eight games in a row.

Players: Point guard Lindsay Whalen had one of her best games for the Lynx against Atlanta. She had 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds and only one turnover. Seattle center Lauren Jackson, after missing one game because of a mild concussion, had 31 points and 18 rebounds against the Mercury.

Numbers: If Seattle wins, it will match the second-best start (18-2) in WNBA history by Houston in 2000. One of the Storm's victories this season was over the visiting Lynx, 79-76 on May 19.
