Services will be held Friday for Brooklyn Park Mayor Steve Lampi, who died Saturday night of cancer. Lampi, 56, died only three weeks after the disease was diagnosed, and only a month into his third term. Lampi also was owner, CEO and president of Bridgeman's Ice Cream Inc.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Edinburgh Golf Course Clubhouse, 8700 Edinbrook Crossing, Brooklyn Park. A program will begin at 7 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Av. N., in Brooklyn Center. A visitation begins at 10 a.m.
