When it comes to traffic reports, no news is good news. And aside from a few pockets of congestion here and there, the Friday commute sort of has that holiday feel.  Here is a look at the traffic flow at 8 a.m. on westbound I-94 approaching Riverside Avenue in Minneapolis.
Westbound I-494 slows a tad between Portland and France avenues, but nothing drivers are not used to along the Bloomington strip.
And the view on northbound I-35W at Lake Street. Tight but moving along just fine from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis at 8 a.m.
Watch out for police activity on the 2000 block of Silver Bell Road in Eagan. Police are investigating a car vs. pedestrian crash earlier this morning.
