Jack Denne drove in Evan Saunders to give St. Michael-Albertville a 5-4 walk-off win over visiting Chaska on Friday in baseball.

Saunders hit a one-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning. After a wild pitch on the first pitch to Eric Fouquette advanced Saunders to second, the Hawks intentionally walked the batter to set runners up at first and second. Denne ended the game two pitches later.

The Hawks scored two runs in the sixth inning to tie the score 4-4. They got the first two runners on via a pair of Knights errors. Henry Bushey hit a single and AJ Cantu hit a sacrifice fly to left field to get the runners home.

Kaden Amundson scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first to get the Knights on the board first. Hunter Palmer led off the third inning with a single and stolen base before scoring on a double by Amundson to extend the lead to 2-0.

Nathan Rosenberg doubled to scored Nolan Kemp and Drew Benson to get the score tied at 2-2 in the fourth inning.

The Knights quickly re-claimed a two-run lead in the bottom of the fourth with the help of two Hawks' errors.

Max Sutter struck out eight in six innings and Zach Romans threw a 1-2-3 inning for the Knights.

Karver Miller had two hits and pitched 6â…“ innings for the Hawks.

Stillwater 4, East Ridge 1: Zach Nelson scattered four hits while striking out three and walking one to shut out the host Raptors. Kade Peloquin had three hits and one RBI and Tanner Voight had one hit and two RBI for the Ponies. TJ Swidorski had two hits and one RBI to lead East Ridge.

Mounds View 2, Woodbury 0: Will Rogers struck out 12 over seven innings while allowing two hits to shut out the visiting Royals. Rogers also had two hits and one RBI.

Hastings 1, Rosemount 0: Jeremiah Schumacher allowed four hits and five walks in 6â…” innings, but pitched around the baserunners to shut out the host Irish. Joseph Schuster scored the winning run in the top of the seventh inning on a catcher's interference.

Hopkins 3, St. Louis Park 1: Ryan McGhie had two hits and one RBI and gave up one unearned run over 6â…“ innings to lead the Royals past the host Orioles. Stanley Regguinti had one hit, one stolen base and one run scored for the Orioles.

Irondale 8, Cretin-Derham Hall 7 (8): Elly Jacob had five hits, one RBI and three runs scored to lead the Knights past the visiting Raiders in eight innings. Ella Harris had three hits, one RBI and one run scored, Allison Foldesi had one hit and four RBI for the Knights. Frances Staples had two hits, one RBI and two runs scored, Sammy Muetzel had two hits, one RBI and one run scored, Shannon Cummings and Ella Klein had two hits and one RBI each for the Raiders.

Visitation 3, Bloomington Kennedy 2: The Blazers scored three runs in the fifth inning to defeat the visiting Eagles. Clare Olson had two hits and one run scored, Jaclyn Young had two hits and Isabella Griffin struck out five in seven innings for the Blazers. Taylor David had two hits and Mary Hajduk struck out seven and allowed no earned runs in six innings for the Eagles.

Andover 6, Mahtomedi 0: Olivia Krafty had three hits, including a double, one RBI and two runs scored to lead the Huskies past the visiting Zephyrs. Morgan Kostecka struck out one and allowed three hits in seven innings. Allison Kosel had two hits for the Zephyrs.

Eastview 5, Burnsville 2: Ella Larson and Jenna Kuhn had two hits, one RBI and one run scored each to lead the Lightning past the visiting Blaze. Morgan Krumwiede had one hit, one RBI and one run scored for the Blaze.

Centennial 6, North St. Paul 0: Helene Krage struck out nine to shut out the visiting Polars. She also had two hits. Maddy Ringen, Alexa Just and Emma Hopkins had two hits and one RBI each and Bryn Ruberg had one hit, one stolen base and two runs scored. Gabby Martinez and Elena Martinez had two hits each for the Polars.

Girls' lacrosse

Buffalo 16, Becker 15 (OT): Eleanor Toussaint scored 28 seconds into overtime for her ninth goal of the game to give the Bison the victory over the visiting Bulldogs. The Bison got goals from Bailey Mischke and Toussaint in the final minute to tie the game with 28.8 seconds left in regulation. The Bison had trailed by as many as six in the second half. Ava Herzberg had four goals for the Bison.
