Max Sutter stranded runners on first and second in the last inning to give St. Michael-Albertville a 2-0 victory over visiting Wayzata on Friday in baseball.

Sutter finished with 10 strikeouts, including two in each of the last two innings. He scattered six hits without walking anyone.

Jack Denne and Hayden Olson hit back-to-back two-out singles to bring in Tommy Schaupp and Eric Fouquette, respectively, in the third inning to give the Knights their only runs.

Woodbury 6, Stillwater 2: Joey Meuer had a double, triple, stolen base and two runs scored to lead the Royals past the visiting Ponies. Cole Erickson had a double and two runs scored and Reiss Calvin struck out seven in 6â…“ innings for the Royals. Mason McCurdy had an RBI and a stolen base for the Ponies.

Princeton 5, Becker 4: The Tigers got the walk off victory over the Bulldogs after surrendering three runs in the top of the seventh. The Tigers scored three runs in the fifth inning to take a 4-1 lead. Mitch Krone had two RBI and two runs scored, Adam Johaneson had two hits and two runs scored and Mason Beltrand struck out four in seven innings for Princeton. Gavin Swanson had one hit and two RBI and Nick Berglund had two hits, one stolen base and one RBI for the Bulldogs.

Blake 4, Minnehaha Academy 3: John Carland had three hits and two RBI to lead the Bears past the visiting Redhawks. Owen Santiago had one hit, one RBI and one run scored for Minnehaha Academy.

Hastings 5, South St. Paul 0: Jeremiah Schumacher struck out nine to lead the Raiders past the visiting Packers. Ben Teigland had three RBI and Simon Hedin had two runs scored for the Raiders.

Hopkins 5, Edina 2: Luke Nordean had two hits to lead the Royals past the visiting Hornets. Ryan McGie struck out 10 over six innings for the Royals. Drew Sparrow had a hit and run scored for the Hornets.

St. Croix Lutheran 4, DeLaSalle 3: Nick Spott had two hits and two RBI to lead the Crusaders past the host Islanders. Taishi Aizawa also had two RBI and two runs scored. Will Koestler had one hit and two RBI for the Islanders.

Bloomington Kennedy 4, Minneapolis Southwest 1: Mary Hajduk struck out 14 in seven innings to lead the Eagles past the host Lakers. Ava Morabito had two hits and two RBI for the Eagles. Anya London hit a home run for the Lakers.

Woodbury 4, Mounds View 3: The Royals jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held off the Mustangs. Abby Lozano had one RBI and two runs scored, and Alexis Mariano had two RBI for the Royals. Clara Gustafson and Emily Aman had two hits and one run scored each for the Mustangs.
