I noted recently that the Wolves were 0-20 in games this season when their defensive rating — an estimate of points allowed per 100 possessions — is above 116.1. Then of course in their next game after writing that, they posted a 124.1 defensive rating, their sixth worst of the season — and beat Toronto 112-109.
You should be used to this by now, but it's another night to wear out that remote. Gophers men's hockey vs. Ohio State (BTN), Lightning at Wild (NBCSN) and Pelicans at Wolves (FSN) are all 7 p.m. starts. Good luck sorting it all out.
"Nate Mason, you are still the straw even when shots aren't falling. Stay aggressive and make sure your mates are cutting to the hoop when you're driving. Iowa is just a so-so team but this was a big win in terms of RPI. Another easier team coming up."

"Can't wait to see the (NBA) Dunk contest this year. I think this could be the best year ever. ... YES, I said it! Looking forward to seeing it."
