Friday's Page 2 2day: ESPN draft expert praises Vikings GM Rick Spielman

The 2016 NFL draft isn't until late April, but ESPN assembled a conference call with draft expert Todd McShay on Thursday to talk about it. That says a lot about many things, and maybe it even says something about me because yes, I jumped on it to ask McShay about the Vikings.

The upshot of his answers to my two-part question:

• He thinks Vikings GM Rick Spielman has done a good job in recent drafts, calling him "one of the better, more underrated GMs."

• McShay thinks the Vikings will take another linebacker near the top of the draft this year.
