Cale Morris stopped 48 shots and third line wing Bo Brauer had two goals to lead No. 2 Notre Dame to a 5-3 victory over host Penn State on Friday night in Big Ten hockey.

Brauer's second goal of the game — and fourth of the season — broke a 3-all tie at 4 minutes, 21 seconds of the third period.

Chase Berger had two goals and an assist for the Nittany Lions, ranked No. 17 by uscho.com, and Peyton Jones made 32 saves.

No. 5 Ohio State 4, Michigan State 2: Dakota Joshua scored two third-period goals as the host Buckeyes beat the Spartans. His first goal in the seventh minute put Ohio State ahead 3-1.

No. 20 Michigan 5, No. 18 Wisconsin 3: The Wolverines scored three goals in a 5:13 span in the opening period in beating the visiting Badgers. Jake Slater made it 3-1 at 17:07 of the first on a power play. Ryan Wagner had two goals in the third for Wisconsin.

No. 6 St. Cloud State 5, No. 13 Omaha 3: Nick Poehling, Judd Peterson and Robby Jackson each had a goal and an assist as the Huskies beat the visiting Mavericks. Easton Brodzinski gave St. Cloud State a 4-2 lead with a power-play goal 62 seconds into the third period. David Pope had a hat trick and Joel Messner three assists for Omaha. David Hrenak had 15 saves for the Huskies, Evan Weninger 37 for the Mavericks.

Lake Superior State 2, Bemidji State 0: Nick Kossoff of the Lakers had 28 saves to shut out the host Beavers. J.T. Henke and Anthony Nellis scored the goals for Lake Superior State.

No. 7 MSU Mankato 7, Alaska Anchorage 1: Zeb Knutson had two goals and two assists to lead the Mavericks over the visiting Seawolves. MSU Mankato had a 43-18 advantage in shots.
