UND barely survives

• NORTH DAKOTA 1, ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE 0: Ben Chyzyk's power-play goal in the middle of the second period gave the host Fighting Hawks (17-2-2), rated No. 2, a win over the Chargers (4-13-2). Cam Johnson made 19 saves for the shutout.

• ST. CLOUD STATE 6, ARIZONA STATE 1: Ethan Prow and Joey Benik each scored two goals to lead the No. 5 Huskies (15-4) over the visiting Sun Devils (5-13). Judd Peterson had a goal and an assist for SCSU.

• WISCONSIN 1, TRINITY WESTERN 0: Patrick Sexton scored at 2:44 of the third period to give the Badgers an exhibition victory over the Spartans. Two Wisconsin goalies combined for 17 saves in the shutout.
