Friday morning thoughts

Wild news

February 18, 2011 at 3:29PM

Morning. I'll freshen up the blog later if there's news. I'd still think that with the team off yesterday, Marek Zidlicky plays Sunday, not tonight. But we'll know for sure in 90 minutes or so.

Couple things:

1. If you've got tickets, the March 20 game vs. Montreal has been changed from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m.

2. Beloved Jarkko Ruutu was traded from Ottawa to Anaheim yesterday. He will not be in the Ducks' lineup tonight vs. the Wild.

3. Todd Bertuzzi's 1,000th game should be in front of the fans who love (I mean, loathe) him the most, Sunday -- Wild fans. What's your favorite Todd Bertuzzi memory?

4. Remember, the Wild will practice outdoors for the first time in history tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at MN Oval in Roseville. Get there early or you may be shut out. Space around the rink and parking is limited.

5. Blaine High will be retiring Washington Capitals player Matt Hendricks' jersey #10 during their game on Saturday evening against Centennial.

More later if there's news from the skate
