June 4, 2011 at 7:58PM

The 2011 French Open Finals, a major tennis tournament, draws to a conclusionSunday, but may have to dodge some raindrops in the process. So far, the two-week tennis tournament held in Roland Garros Stadium in Paris,France, has avoided issues from the weather. High temperatures have peaked inonly the lower 80s F, and no rain has fallen.

In fact, Saturday was the warmest day for the tournament, with a temperaturesof 86 F (30 C).

The weather pattern is beginning to change, with cooler weather and perhapssome showers expected during Sunday's Men's Singles Final.

A large, upper-air low pressure system will continue to move toward Paris, sending plumes of moisture from the Mediterranean Sea over the city. Theseplumes of moisture may also produce a few showers or even a thunderstorm.

While a washout is not expected, any rainfall can lead to significant delays onthe clay courts, possibly pushing back the final round to Monday. Even still, the risk for showers will persist into Monday.
