Freeway ramps reopen in Minnetonka after trailer rolls over

A cherry picker rolled off a trailer being towed by a dump truck on a busy west metro Monday morning forcing authorities to shut down two freeway ramps and I-394 for hours.

Two freeway ramps in the west metro have reopened after being closed for hours after a trailer hauling equipment overturned late Monday morning.

A cherry picker rolled off a trailer being towed by a dump truck at the interchange of I-394 and I-494 in Minnetonka around 10:20 a.m., the Minnesota Department of Transportation said.

Authorities closed the ramps from southbound I-494 to eastbound I-394 and the ramp from easbound I-394 to northbound I-494 until mishap was cleaned up just after 1 p.m.
