MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis holds a free nighttime art and music festival Saturday.

The inaugural Secret City festival kicks off at 6 p.m.

The Convention Center Plaza will feature a new, interactive art installation — the Minneapolis Interactive Macro-Mood Installation — a large, cloud-like sculpture that will glow over the city. The sculpture is designed to change color and shape depending on the mood of the city's residents.

Other activities include pingpong tables, a bicycle ballet and dancing.

At the Basilica of Saint Mary, Aztec dancers will perform on the plaza. At the I-94 interpass adjacent to the basilica, artists will transform a parking lot into an art space.

Secret City also celebrates the start of "Made Here," the new Hennepin Cultural District pop-up art activities along Hennepin Avenue.
