Remember that half-price cheesecake offer last week? Today (Tuesday, Aug. 7) it's time for a health rush instead of a sugar rush. HealthPartners Clinics are giving away a bag of locally grown vegetables to the first 300 people in line at five clinics in the Twin Cities area. The giveway runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

The fresh produce is provided by Costa Farm & Greenhouse in Mahtomedi.

Bags will include tomatoes, green beans, bell peppers, zucchini and kale. Recipes are also included. Maybe there will be a recipe that makes kale palatable.

Choose from the following sites for the veggies:

HealthPartners Brooklyn Center Clinic (6845 Lee Av. N,)

Eagan (1654 Diffley Rd, Suite 100)

Minneapolis (Nokomis, 4730 Chicago Av. S.)

Elk River (Riverway, 550 3rd St. NW)

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
