Free cat nail trims

Chuck & Don's Pet Food Outlet offers free nail trims Saturday

December 10, 2010 at 3:31PM

Petco grooming salons offers the cheapest nail trims I've found ($10). No appointment is necessary, although you must be able to show proof of vaccination on the first visit (rabies certificate, vet receipt or tags). One suggestion: Ask the person doing the trimming to clip the nails as short as is safely possible or the Petco groomer will only cut off the tips and your will have to return more often.

For an even cheaper nail trim (assuming that your cat won't let you trim the nails yourself), Chuck & Don's Pet Food Outlets usually have a free trim clinic every four weeks or so at each location. This Saturday (Dec. 11), the locations in Shakopee (1270 Vierling Dr. E) and Roseville (1661 W. County Rd. C) offer free trims from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
