Leslie Frazier said in an interview with 1500 ESPN that he hopes to have his staff set in 10 days.
Frazier talked about assembling his staff, the future of his coordinators and his dismissal of three offensive assistants on Wednesday.
"I'm hoping that we'll make some inroads over the next few days and maybe make an announcement in the next 10 days," Frazier said. "There are some things that have to happen for that to work out perfectly. But hopefully sooner than later."
Frazier let go quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers, offensive line coach Pat Morris and assistant line coach Jim Hueber on Wednesday.
"As we were going through this and trying to figure out what's the best thing to do, it's tough," Frazier said. "It really is tough."
Frazier declined to get into specifics regarding offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and interim defensive coordinator Fred Pagac and what their roles might be going forward.
Bevell remains on staff for now but his role could change if he stays. That likely will depend on whether Frazier keeps the West Coast offense or changes systems.
"A lot of what we end up doing will have an effect on not only our offense but our entire team so we'll try and figure out what's best for everybody as we make that decision," Frazier said.
