Franken on stage this morning

Sen. Al Franken spoke at the DFL convention today and got big applause for his critical comments of Michele Bachmann.

Sen. Al Franken just finished speaking at the convention this morning, getting big applause for his critical comments of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, and leaving the stage to Tom Petty's lyrics, "I won't back down".

Surrounded by reporters after his speech, Franken dismissed speculation there would be no gubernatorial endorsement. "I really believe they're coming out of here with an endorsed candidate," he said.
