"The Nanny" is working a dayshift.

"The Fran Drescher Show," a syndicated talker for Fox Studios, will be tested out in six markets starting Nov. 26, including the Twin Cities. KMSP will be the provider. If all goes well, the show would launch nationwide in the 2011-12 season.

"I'm thrilled to be able to bring 'The Fran Drescher Tawk Show' to daytime TV, which fits me hand in glove," Drescher said in a press release. "It will cover all o fmy passions, everything from pedicures to politics."

Drescher is one of several celebs, including Anderson Cooper and Jenny McCarthy, positioning themselves to fill the void left by Oprah Winfrey when she moves to cable TV next season.
