The Vikings announced a partnership with Fox9 (KMSP Ch. 9) today that will include the station airing four of the team’s five preseason games.

Televised on Ch. 9 will be home preseason games with Tampa Bay Aug. 15 and Oakland Aug. 22, and road preseason games against Dallas Aug. 29 and Tennessee Sept. 3. The team’s preseason opener, the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 9 vs. Pittsburgh in Canton, Ohio, will be on NBC.

Twelve of the team’s 16 regular season games will also air on Fox.

Other highlights from the team’s news release:

A special edition of “Vikings: Beyond the Gridiron” will air at 11:30 p.m. this Sunday, and other episodes will be aired regularly at 11 p.m. Sundays on KMSP and 10 p.m. Fridays on WFTC.

A pregame show, Vikings GamePlan, will air at 9:30 a.m. Sundays during the season on Ch. 9.
