Fourth-and-five

Three observations ... • Colin Kaepernick's tattoos were criticized in a column on AOL Fanhouse. As a somewhat old geezer, my feeling is this: If a guy plays like Kaepernick has the past two weeks, he can have tattoos on his eyeballs.

• It's time to make 49ers GM Trent Baalke a household name.

• Rex Ryan says Tim Tebow is a "game-time" decision. The rest of us say, "Who cares?"

Two bold predictions ... • The Kaepernick-Alex Smith story line will enter its really fun phase when the 49ers are upset in St. Louis.

• Don't recrown the Giants just yet. RG3 on MNF at HOME adds up to a Redskins WIN.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
