Three observations ... • Brandon Jacobs tweets, "Never work in a place where you hate your boss ..." and then argues he wasn't talking about Jim Harbaugh. Riiight.

• Jacobs insists the tweet was about a situation that his brother was facing, not the fact he's still not a part of the offense. Riight.

• Like most Twitter victims, Jacobs got ticked off at the fallout from a situation that his own thumbs created. Here's an idea for all athletes who misquote themselves: STOP TWEETING!!

Two bold predictions ... • Drew Brees will throw for 432 yards and four touchdowns as the Saints beat Oakland, reach .500 and enter the playoff picture.

• Tony Romo will throw for 300 yards and be intercepted three times as the Cowboys lose to the Browns and not enter the playoff picture.
