Four Twin Cities men are facing multiple counterfeiting charges, according to a federal indictment unsealed Thursday.

Arrested Wednesday were: Brandon Olynick, 36, of St. Paul, Michael Tucker, 56, of South St. Paul, Nathan Reusch, 32, of Dayton and Charles Ogdahl, 37, of Minneapolis.

Each faces one count of conspiracy to counterfeit U.S. currency and one count of aiding and abetting counterfeiting. Olynick, Ogdahl and Reusch face an additional count of aiding and abetting counterfeiting, authorities said.

According to the indictment filed in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, the men produced bogus money from October 2004 to January 2006.

The case began in October 2004 after police searched a residence in South St. Paul as part of a drug investigation. Police found numerous fake $20 bills, 15 computers, ink and other counterfeiting equipment there.

If convicted, the men face up to five years in prison for the conspiracy charges and 20 years on each aiding and abetting charge.
