Four still in running to become new Hennepin Technical College president

A search committee for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system has named four semifinalists for the post of president of Hennepin Technical College.

The semifinalists are Jeffrey Cantor, Cecilia Cervantes, Ronald Kraft and Raymond Nadolny.

Cantor is interim vice president for academic affairs and provost at Pensacola Junior College in Pensacola, Fla.
Cervantes is president of the College of Alameda in Alameda, Calif.
Kraft is vice president of student affairs at Hennepin Technical College.
Nadolny is vice president for institutional advancement at Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland, Wash.

Members of MnSCU's the Board of Directors and Chancellor James McCormick will interview the candidates and could name a new president by July 30.

The successful candidate will replace Kathryn Jeffery, who resigned to take another position.

Hennepin Technical College serves 8,200 students on its campuses in Eden Prairie and Brooklyn Park.
