Kate Lindello is the Duluth-based brains behind Noihsaf Bazaar. We asked her to pick five designers she loves. Here they are -- mostly women, which is no surprise.

Rachel Comey
"Her designs were the first 'bigger' purchases I made and I still love them. She creates thoughtful pieces that somehow manage to be both timeless while still fresh and modern. Lately, she's been using 'non-models' for her runway shows, and it's really inspiring seeing all ages and backgrounds rocking these amazing garments."

Ilana Kohn
"I have been following her design career from the start. Her line provides a lot of elevated basics that are ethically sourced and made. Her linen jumpsuits are a summer staple of mine."

Maryam Nassir Zadeh
"MNZ is where art meets fashion and I find just perusing her website and Instagram to be a source of inspiration. Her shoe line is constantly blowing my mind, and she's done an A++++ designing shoes that are edgy, classic and comfortable."

Samuji
"This design house out of Helsinki creates some of my favorite prints and color ways. Samu-Jussi Koski, the designer, was the creative director of the iconic Marimekko, so a lot of his designs are bold, modern and colorful — perfect for spring!"

Babaà
"This knitwear line out of Spain makes my favorite sweaters. It might be spring, but one always needs to pack a cardigan or sweater in Minnesota! Her cotton No. 18 cardigan is my go-to throw on."
