Former Minnesota Vikings running back Caleb King pleaded guilty Friday in Anoka County District Court to two charges involving an April 2012 incident at a party.
King, 25, admitted to interfering with a 911 call and to fifth-degree assault. He is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 28 in Anoka County.
The University of Georgia alumnus was charged last year with third- and fifth-degree assault for allegedly punching a man in the face at a birthday party in Oak Grove, causing the man to get 19 stitches.
King, a Georgia native, was an NFL rookie in 2011. He was released from the Vikings three days after his arrest.
