Former NFL player -- and brother of ex-Viking -- goes on Twitter rant against NFL

Hamza Abdullah railed against the league.

Hamza Abdullah -- who last played in the NFL in 2011 -- went on an unsettling Twitter rant about many things, including the NFL, over the past several hours. Much of it has to do with the NFL covering up injuries and not protecting players during and after their careers.

Abdullah is the brother of ex-Viking Husain Abdullah, a safety who started 24 games for the purple in 2010 and 2011. The brothers left the NFL in 2012 to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. Hamza is not playing for anyone this year; Husain is playing for the Chiefs. Here are a couple of the (clean) tweets Hamza sent out. Jay Glazer reported that he got a text from Hamza and that he is not in any danger. (Note: Explicit language if you look at all the tweets):
