'Out There' finale

Walker Art Center's "Out There" performance series wraps up its 30th anniversary with the British experimental troupe Forced Entertainment. On Friday, they'll perform "Real Magic," a Walker commission. Mixing elements that call to mind Samuel Beckett with dance and a malfunctioning game show, it speaks to the effort to connect. (8 p.m. Fri., Walker Art Center, 725 Vineland Place, Mpls. $25. 612-375-7600 or walkerart.org.) Then Saturday they'll present a six-hour performance called "Quizoola!" that's part quiz show and part shindig (there will be booze). Audiences are invited to pop in and out of the show — or come later for a free closing party that'll last till midnight. (4-10 p.m. Sat., Soap Factory, 514 SE. 2nd St., Mpls. $25.)
