First there was this story, about a place on E. Lake St. that had some issues with its neighbors.
Then there was this story, in which the place's manager said it was all bias.
Then, yesterday, this sign appeared:

"For rent" sign at 3318 E. Lake St.
Could they be connected? Sure they could, but we don’t know for sure because the man who represents the owner of the property didn't return my phone call.
The bottom line: if you’re looking for a sweet space on E. Lake Street to hold late night parties, have the cops called on you and enrage the neighbors, don’t rent this space. It's already been done.
