For those wondering how much progress has been made in the past year on building a new Minnesota Vikings stadium, here is something that might help: December 15, 2010 – "The [Metrodome] lease is up. . .the discussion is broadening, and I think it's going to be a little bit more intense. . .I think everyone [in the Legislature] understands that there will be a [stadium] bill, and it will go through the process and hopefully we can get a deal at the very end of session [in spring 2011]. I'll be surprised if it doesn't get completed." Sen. Julie Rosen, R-Fairmont, chief Senate author of Vikings stadium legislation. November 17, 2011 – "We're moving forward, a little at a time. But, as you know, it's a dance. Arden Hills was in to see the governor. Arden Hills was in to see me. Minneapolis is working on a few things – not sure quite if they're ready, or if they're ready for prime time." Sen. Julie Rosen, R-Fairmont, chief Senate author of Vikings stadium legislation.
