Moderate river flooding continues, especially across portions of southern
Georgia and northern Florida, but the good news is that the river levels
continue to fall.
The flooding is still a product of the runoff from the heavy rainfall during the March 27- April 4 period.
A storm will bring additional showers and thunderstorms to the area Friday night and early Saturday, but the heaviest rainfall should pass well to the north.
