A tropical low pressure area will continue to track westward across theCaribbean this weekend, spreading heavy rainfall from Puerto Rico toHispaniola.Several inches of rain are possible over the weekend across the DominicanRepublic and Haiti as the system moves through, leading to pockets ofsignificant flooding.
There is some good news, as strong westerly winds aloft will prevent the systemfrom strengthening into a tropical depression or storm.
