Twitter jape causes brief controversy, says Rolling Stone:

Yes, that would be your first clue. As it happens, Mr. Cent was joking, and oh by the way he has his own new video channel, boobootv.com, which is going after the same demo. (It may be pronounced Boob-oot-vee; can't tell.) There's plenty of videos you can watch for free. If you find one where someone isn't pointing at the camera, is actually singing instead of talking, and contains lyrics that do not necessarily involve inflicting bodily harm on other people in the course of a criminal enterprise, let me know. As for why the site went down:

Yes, DHS. In the last few months ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division of DHS has been seizing domain names used to sell pirated goods, including music. Wasn't the case here. Carry on.
