First legal filing coming in the recount on Friday

The filing will be the gubernatorial recount's first pop into the legal system

Republicans plan on filing something with the courts regarding the expected gubernatorial recount on Friday.

"We are exploring filing some papers tomorrow and we will talk more about the specifics tomorrow," Party chairman Tony Sutton said Thursday night.

The filing may be tiny. In the 2008 U.S. Senate recount, parties -- both sides -- pulled issues into court well before the entire election was hauled before the judiciary.
