Glitter appears to be the new method of attack for disgruntled protesters targeting the Republican presidential candidates.
After glitter was dumped on Newt Gingrich last month during a Minneapolis stop, former Gov. Tim Pawlenty got his own glittering today at a book signing in San Francisco.
Gringrich's glitter culprit was Robert Erickson, of Tom Emmer penny fame. Pawlenty's attackers Thursday were professional protesters Code Pink, according to a shaky-cam video the group posted to YouTube.
The glittering itself didn't appear to be much, as the two protesters dumped the pink glitter mostly on the table before they were whisked away by security. You can't see whether any actually hit Pawlenty.
