GREAT SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Minn. — St. Louis County deputies say an argument over fireworks resulted in one man pointing a gun at another man's head and threatening to pull the trigger.

A Hibbing Daily Tribune report (http://bit.ly/13AVjRb ) says deputies responded Thursday evening to a fireworks complaint in Great Scott Township. They say a 61-year-old man from Britt drove to the property of a 43-year-old man to confront him about the fireworks.

The 61-year-old allegedly pointed a handgun at the man's head and threatened in front of witnesses to kill him.

The man was arrested without incident. Deputies say a search warrant executed at his residence turned up several handguns fitting the description of the gun the victim described.

The man is being held on tentative charges of second-degree assault, terroristic threats and damage to property.
