Firefighters from five departments battled a structure fire Thursday in the city of Corcoran.

All three departments that serve the city — Loretto, Rogers and Hanover — responded to the scene on Schutte Road, said Paula Steelman, public safety administrative assistant for the city.

Photos from the scene show firefighters dousing a blaze coming from a metal outbuilding near a house.

The Plymouth and Maple Grove departments also were assisting.

The state Department of Natural Resources rates fire danger as high right now in abnormally dry Hennepin and Ramsey counties and much of the state.
