Firefighter hospitalized after minor injury during south Minneapolis blaze

A Minneapolis firefighter was hospitalized Saturday with a minor injury after responding to a south Minneapolis fire.

Firefighters responded to the fire just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of Dight Avenue S. and reported that one firefighter had to be hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center due to a minor injury from a fall.

The fire, which was put out immediately, remains under investigation. No one else was injured.
