Fire burned on the rooftop patio of a six-story Warehouse District building overnight in downtown Minneapolis, sending occupants out of their homes, authorities said. No injuries were reported in the building, which includes residences and businesses.

The blaze started about 3:45 a.m. Sunday at the building at 110 3rd St. N., and crews arrived to find patio furniture on the rooftop deck on fire, according to the Fire Department.

The flames spread to the parapet wall — a small wall around the edge of the roof — but crews quickly got the fire knocked down before it crept into the building's interior, the department added.

The fire's cause has yet to be determined.

Along with residences, the building is also home to a T-shirt silk-screening business and a studio for acrobatic performers.
