Investigators were on the scene of an early morning fire today that damaged a house in Maple Grove.

The homeowner woke up around 3:15 a.m. and discovered the blaze. He called crews to the residence on the 17200 block of 66th Place.

Everybody inside the house got out unharmed, but one firefighter was treated for inhalation issues, said Kurt Kramer, deputy fire chief.

Kramer said the exact cause of the fire was not known, but said the blaze began outside the home near an electrical meter, then spread into the attic. He had no estimate of damage or loss.

The fire is under investigation.
