The fall concert schedule is starting to get more exciting.

Fiona Apple, who gave one of the best concerts of 2012, will return Oct. 14 to the O'Shaughnessy at St. Kate's university in St. Paul. Her performance is a duo gig with ace guitarist Blake Mills, billed as "Anything We Want: An Evening With Fiona Apple & Blake Mills." Tickets, priced from $39.50-$59.50, will go on sale at noon Friday at the O'Shaughnessy box office and 651-690-6700.

Fresh from a two-night stand at the Varsity, Fitz & the Tantrums, those retro soulsters from L.A., will return Nov. 21 at the Myth with Capital Cities. Tickets, which cost $25, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets. Lady Antebellum, country music's hottest coed trio, has booked Dec. 5 at Target Center for its Take Me Downtown Tour. Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves will open. Tickets will go on sale Sept. 20.
