If anticipation for "The Force Awakens" has you bouncing off the walls like a CGI Yoda, we have your calming fix. These days, the franchise encompasses much more than just the movies.

Here are three picks from three media to quench your thirst till "Episode 7"arrives on Dec. 17.

Video game

Title: "Star Wars Battlefront."

Need to know: Possibly the most gorgeous "Star Wars" game ever made, it's also one of the best online multiplayer games available, with up to 40 players battling in various scenarios.

Cost: $60 for PS4, Xbox One, PC; rated Teen.

Graphic novel

Title: "Star Wars : Darth Vader Vol. 1."

Need to know: Marvel is on fire this year with a handful of new comics that continue the trilogies' story lines. This one — told from Vader's perspective — is the best.

Cost: $19.99.

TV show

Title: "Star Wars Rebels."

Need to know: Taking place five years before the first movie, "A New Hope," the dynamic series follows a group of rebels taking on the Empire.

Cost: Disney Blu-ray, $46; DVD, $40.
