Filtration system can eliminate need to bring water to the Boundary Waters

A friend said recently he packed drinking water into the BWCA. That's unnecessary. Well-known water treatment manufacturer Katadyn has further refined its camper, paddler and backpacker filtration systems with introduction of the Gravity BeFree 3.0L, which holds more than 100 ounces and filters water at the rate of 2 liters per minute. I carry a Katadyn pump filter on some trips. But the gravity flow of the BeFree 3.0L provides more clean water, faster, whether for individuals or groups, or for cooking. About $70.
