INDIANAPOLIS - Shavonte Zellous' jump shot with 0.5 seconds remaining lifted the Indiana Fever over the Connecticut Sun 78-76 in Game 2 of the WNBA Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night, tying the series.
The two teams will play the decisive third game on Thursday night in Connecticut.
The Sun's Allison Hightower tied the score on a baseline runner with 12.5 seconds left. She was fouled on the play, but missed the free throw.
Tamika Catchings rebounded the miss and threw an outlet pass to Briann January, who missed a layup. Zellous picked up the rebound and scored from 13 feet.
Katie Douglas scored 24 points and Catchings had 21 points to lead the Fever. Kara Lawson's 18 points led the Sun.
The winner of Thursday's game will face the Lynx in the WNBA Finals.
