A 27-year-old convicted child rapist from Red Wing, Minn., was accused Wednesday in federal court in Minneapolis of producing videos of boys he coerced into performing sex acts over a three-year period.

The indictment of Nicolas R. Heath covers five alleged instances from December 2006 through August 2009.

According to the indictment:

On Dec. 31, 2006, Heath produced a sexually explicit videotape of a boy, and on May 15, 2009, he took explicit photos of the same boy. Then, for the next two years he again involved the boy in producing pornography via a laptop computer and a web camera.

Ryan used a second boy, in December 2008 and August 2009, to take sexually explicit photos.

In September, Heath was sentenced in Goodhue County District Court to a year in jail and 30 years' probation after pleading guilty to raping a 3-year-old boy. Authorities said Heath had a significant relationship with the child before the crime occurred.
