FAYE DRISCOLL

Feb. 17-21: Be prepared for a less-than-passive experience if you see "Thank You for Coming: Attendance" at Walker Art Center. If past presentations are any indication, you're going to be moving around, your hand may be stamped at the door, and you might be given a costume to wear or a prop to hold. New York-based, Bessie Award-winning choreographer/director Faye Driscoll presents the first work in a trilogy that plays with the line between audience and performer, inviting guests to be part of an immersive work. As the dancers wiggle and tangle one another up in knots of bodies, spectators will move around for a fresh perspective on what it means to view performance. (8 p.m. Wed.-Sat., 7 p.m. next Sun. $20-$25. 1750 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 612-375-7600, walkerart.org/tickets.)

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
